About
My name is Jo Scarff and I discovered yoga about 5 years ago. I actually borrowed a book from the library because I was too much of a chicken to go to a yoga class. Then, after a bit of stretching to make sure I could just touch my toes and not seeing too much improvement, I bought a series of yoga DVDs. They worked.
I really did learn yoga at home – in my own time and in my own scruffy t-shirts and trackpants. And as soon as I was confident that I could do yoga, I finally summoned up the courage to attend a class. Well, that was an awesome class and I’ve never looked back.
Yoga is a funny thing. It’s not just about stretching, being flexible and improving your health. Once you get into it, really get into it, it becomes a way of live. And I don’t mean that to sound cliched and twee. There’s something pure about yoga and it infects your life – in a good way!
So, after hooking my sister, my dad (believe it or not) and my girlfriends on yoga and seeing the positive changes in their lives, I’m now determined to help as many other people as I can on their yoga journeys.
I’d love to hear from you. You can email me at jo [at] yogainfiji.com or leave a comment here.
Namaste.
